Colorado — Hawaii Solar Portfolio
BEC’s CO-HI solar portfolio encompasses five rooftop solar projects in Denver-area communities and one in Kaanapali Beach, Lahaina, Maui.

San Diego — Torrey Pines
BEC worked with the owner of this California biotech park to develop, construct, own, and operate two rooftop solar projects for the long-term benefit of the building tenants.

Nevada Community Solar Project
Benson and Connors helped Bombard Electric develop, construct, and sell one of the largest community solar projects in the United States, the 17.5-MW VEA Community Solar Project in Pahrump, Nevada. The solar facility was designed in conjunction with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to implement the nation’s first active desert tortoise livable habitat.

Thunder Spirit Wind Project
Benson and Connors provided M&A, legal, and tax-equity backup services to Montana-Dakota Utilities Co. related to its 155-MW Thunder Spirit Wind Project, built in North Dakota.
Bia Energy Capital principals have developed, financed, and managed the construction and operation of hundreds of behind-the-meter distributed generation projects and small utility-scale solar facilities throughout the United States. Our experience includes greenfield development, acquisitions, project optimization, permitting, power purchase agreement offtake, interconnection, equipment procurement, construction, financing, and operations. BEC founders have personally invested in solar projects for which they developed and managed the construction and operation.
BEC wholly owns Radiant Renewables LLC, which develops, acquires, and finances utility-scale clean energy projects, primarily solar, wind, and energy storage, as well as natural gas/RNG/hydrogen-ready generation projects to be co-located with data centers and other industrial energy customers in North America. The Radiant team has offices in Issaquah, Washington, and Vancouver, British Columbia.

Three Square Food Bank
Bombard Electric installed five solar projects on two buildings owned by Three Square as part of NV Energy’s Lower Income Solar Energy Program 4 (LISEP4) and the Nevada Solar Solutions Program.

Nevada Solar Solutions Program
Benson and Connors ran point on the origination, financing, legal, and sale of more than 100 solar projects built by Bombard Electric and hosted by Nevada nonprofit organizations, schools, churches, and governmental entities.

Las Vegas Valley Water District
Connors worked with Bombard Electric and other MDU Resources Group’s affiliates to originate, develop, finance, construct, and sell three solar-covered parking structures located near LVVWD’s East Administration, Operations, and Main Campus buildings.

Levi Strauss & Co.
Connors worked with Bombard Electric on the origination, development, and construction of Levi’s first worldwide solar project at the company’s Henderson, Nevada, distribution center. The solar-covered parking project helped the company earn LEED Platinum certification.
